What is an easy and efficient way to learn the french language besides reading and writing french?

Only need to know basic french language for grade 9 french course.

1. watch a French channel with the caption on the screen, It helps a lot and you pick up bits and pieces of the language.
2. My advice is to go to a French speaking country. Not neccesarily France, they have the province of Quebec in Canada, or places on the eastern coast of Africa or even the Caribbean Islands....but just spend a few weeks there, and if you know some of the basics, you'll pick the rest of the language up even faster.
