French Text

What does this French text say in English?

I am doing some family history research on a French archives website and need help translating something. This piece of text, which I have as an image here: http://www.guillonfamily.co.uk/FrenchText.jpg I cannot work out what it says in French and therefore cannot translate it! To put it into some sort of context, I know it's the occupation of a 31-year old man in France in 1852. I hope someone can help!

2. I'm french and I can't read it. It's a very old writing and I can't identify the words. Sorry. Maybe someone else will be able to help. edit: the first word could be "porteur" the second is "de", so so far I think it's "porteur de..." edit: I think it's indeed "porteur de contraintes" and I just managed to see it too. It's an occupation that no longer exists and someone that did that job had to tell people they had to pay the tax inspector, or something like that.
3. Trying to decipher this lovely but illegible writing, which seems to have meaningless flourishes at the end of the principle words, I see : Porteur_? de Ca or Co n b or tr eau or ain tes _? " Porteur de Contraintes " is the only thing that looks like it might make sense, but I don't know what sense that may be.
4. "bearer of ....." [i cant make out the last word] so the last word must be the name of the occupation
5. porteur de contraintes He was the person, sent by the the government tax agency, to collect debts owed to the government by private citizens.
6. Porteur de contraintes = tax collector contrainte = imposition = taxe
