Could I be a french translator in US Army?

I am french. Could I do something with my french speaking in US Army? Thank you.

1. Probably not... French just isn't in that high demand. It doesn't hurt to try though.
2. Bush is no longer president so i think the prospects of going to war with France are very slim.
